Challenge

Quality 1st contracting was contacted by the Wyndmoor Complex Property Manager in regards to sidewalks throughout the development that needed to be replaced. The sidewalks near the entrance to one of the buildings had settled which caused it to crack and crumble. Residents of the Apartment Complex were concerned with the tripping hazards late at night. One of the biggest concerns was the affect the crumbling sidewalks would have on the rest of the sidewalks. The Property Manager went with Quality 1st Contracting after seeing of the finished jobs done by our highly experienced crew.

Solution

Quality 1st Contracting used fresh concrete delivered and mix by Quality Concrete. The concrete was put in barrels to be transported over to the sidewalk. Foreman Santiago and Tommy oversaw the crew members has they began pouring the concrete into the reshaped sidewalk area. The crew then smoothed out the concrete, filling the entire sidewalk area. The crew was able to create new sidewalk slabs in replacement of the old, unsafe ones. The residents of the Wyndmoor Apartment Complex were thrilled at their new sidewalk outside the entrance to their building. The Property Manager was happy with the decision to go with Quality 1st Contracting because we were able to provide the complex with top quality work.
